Our Client:
A major government department delivering strategic, data-driven insights to support education outcomes across Queensland.
The role:
You will lead change activities for the Enterprise Data Platform and Data Governance rollout—driving adoption, uplift, and new ways of working across data, analytics, and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a targeted Change & Adoption Plan for EDP and Data Governance.
- Coordinate onboarding communications across Source-to-Insight workflows and approval pathways.
- Produce practical playbooks and guidance for analysts and product owners.
- Run readiness sessions to prepare branches and regions for new data processes.
- Establish and lead a change champion network across key business areas.
- Embed data governance language, definitions, and Purview awareness in messaging.
- Define and track adoption metrics including behavioural, process and capability shifts.
- Prepare ELT/Board updates on risks, progress, and benefits realisation.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering change across large public-sector or regulated programs.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible communication.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, including senior leadership and unionised environments.
- Experience preparing materials for executive and ministerial governance.
- Excellent writing, editing, facilitation, and visual communication skills.
