ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are supporting a global consulting organisation in expanding a long-term digital engagement with a major enterprise client. They are seeking an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) SME
to join a growing squad of five specialists, focusing on AJO implementation, channel configuration, migration from Adobe Campaign Classic, and omni-channel campaign orchestration.
This role sits within a large-scale Adobe Experience Platform uplift, where AJO is central. You’ll work closely with technical leads, architects, and client stakeholders to shape and deliver end-to-end marketing journeys that align with strategy and industry best practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and configure Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) in a complex enterprise environment.
- Support migration efforts from Adobe Campaign Classic to AJO.
- Design and configure multi-channel campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys.
- Work with technical leads to design Adobe Marketing Cloud–aligned solutions supporting business use cases.
- Define AJO strategies, system requirements, prototypes, and test plans.
- Break down customer strategies into phased, executable roadmaps.
- Collaborate with technology partners to stay updated on new Adobe features and capacity needs.
- Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Ecosystem tools (AEP, Target, AEM, Analytics, Audience Manager).
- Apply CI/CD best practices within Adobe Marketing Cloud deployments.
- Guide client teams through solution implementation and provide functional expertise.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience delivering 1–2+ end-to-end Adobe Journey Optimizer implementations.
- Strong understanding of AEP ecosystem and AJO’s role within it.
- Hands-on channel configuration and campaign setup experience.
- Experience migrating workflows from legacy marketing automation platforms.
- Strong Adobe Marketing Cloud experience (AJO, Campaign, AEP, Marketo).
- Excellent communication with both technical and business audiences.
- Experience across customer experience, CRM, marketing automation, tagging, and data-driven marketing.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- Adobe certifications (Business Practitioner / Technical Developer / Architect).
- Experience integrating Adobe stack tools (Target, AEM, Analytics, Audience Manager).
- Background within consulting, enterprise banking, retail, or large-scale digital environments.

- Two-round interview process (internal panel + client).
