About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, this position oversees the day-to-day administration and accounts operations for the organisation. It’s a broad and busy role where no two days are the same, covering everything from financial management and board support to office coordination and member services.

  • Managing all transactional accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, BAS/IAS, superannuation, and reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reports to support forecasting, budgets, audits, and compliance
  • Providing executive-level administrative support to the CEO and Board, including meetings, reports, and event coordination
  • Overseeing office operations, facilities, and service provider relationships
  • Supporting member renewals and maintaining membership databases
  • Managing relationships with external accountants, auditors, and IT providers

About You

You’re a detail-oriented, steady professional who’s just as comfortable running payroll as you are coordinating a board meeting. You take pride in accuracy, enjoy wearing many hats, and have a knack for keeping things organised and running smoothly.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in administration and accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance requirements
  • Confidence using accounting software (Reckon experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to work independently within a small team
