In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Trent is responsible for the overall strategy and end-to-end execution of the financial and commercial requirements of Davidson.
He is focused on ensuring the accuracy and excellence of the group’s financial reporting, payroll and legal operations, as well as credit management, ICT, procurement, taxation and risk and compliance is in line with our future aspirations to continue to grow.
He is also focused on delivering financial services and management practices that produce a positive return and ensuring regulatory and legislative requirements are met at all times.
Prior to joining Davidson, Trent spent 12 years with Virgin Australia, where he worked his way through the ranks of its financial operations to ultimately be appointed head of the airline’s Better Business Program, which targeted net free cash flow savings of $300 million per annum over three years.
As Head of Virgin Australia’s Better Business Program, Trent was focused on developing and promoting a culture of sustainable continuous improvement and working within the organisation to optimise performance through the development and implementation of capital and operational efficiency initiatives.
